Sure Antennas’ Fitting Kits Prevent the Need to Drill Additional Holes in Cartwright Vehicle Conversions’ Latest Emergency Service Vehicles

Sure Antennas have recently supplied Cartwright Vehicle Conversions (CVC) with 14 specialist antenna fitting kits for their latest conversion project. CVC required a specialist vehicle antenna, opting for the 7-in-1 variant of the ‘Mallard’, which would also be able to replace the OEM antenna and retain the OEM functions.

Cartwright Vehicle Conversions offer a range of converted vehicles for the commercial market, mobility, ambulance, police, temperature control, and security sectors, from its facility in North East Lincolnshire. Sure Antennas have worked closely with CVC for many years, supplying antennas, cable kits & TETRA accessories to ensure their conversions are of the best possible quality for their customers.

Vehicle Fitting Kits are specialist solutions that allow vehicle converters like CVC to replace the OEM antenna on the vehicle roof with a critical comms solution, without losing the original functions which may include AM/FM DAB & GPS. CVC were converting 14 Hyundai vehicles and we were able to provide the exact fitting kit they required to replace the OEM solution.

A real benefit of using a fitting kit is that it is a no drill solution, ensuring that the OEM functions are repositioned. With no extra holes needing to be drilled, this ensures that the vehicle value is maintained and is therefore easily reverted back to it’s OEM appearance when decommissioned in the future.

In order to decipher the type of fitting kit the vehicle requires, it is necessary that the customer either sends in a picture of the antenna underside or simply sends the antenna in to us for inspection. The type of fitting kit depends on the OEM functionality, both quantity and type of.
